The Surgery As an outpatient, Dr. Bounds and his Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist have your safety and comfort in mind. After surgery in the Operating Suite, you will awake from the surgery in the Recovery Room, attended by a Registered Nurse. Once you’re fully awake you may then go home with a family member or trusted close friend.
Typically, you should be able to return to work within four to seven days, depending on the level of activity required for your job. Aerobic activities may be restricted for two to three weeks.
